Balloons

Heyyy.  So it was my niece Lottie's first birthday party today which was lovely. It was held at my house, and I'm not going to lie my favourite parts had to be: the birthday cake because I love cake so very much, and the helium balloons... I just think they are so pretty:

Carrying on with the balloon theme, this evening I decided to try and take a few pictures with the left over ones and I wasn't very happy with the results, but here's one of them anyway:

I wanted this to be a really cute and girly look, which turned out to be quite difficult as a majority of the clothes I wear are black. It's not very obvious in this picture (as I editted it a bit too much), but I wore a pink vest top underneath the lace bodysuit, and tied tiny pink ribbons around my ankles!

Ok so I said i wouldn't post today...but sometimes fashion's more exciting than homework. 
To be honest I probably spent a scary amount of time today trying to take decent pictures of my outfit, but heyho hopefully it was worth it!! 
Here they are:

It all looks a bit messy since each one is differently editted, but I wanted to get them up before going back to school:) 
I won't write about the wedges because I seem to discuss them in great length in every post...but I love them! I got this lovely mini satchel for Christmas and although my purse doesn't quite fit in it I still really like using it... the pattern is so pretty and makes this outfit a little more interesting.
And finally, I've ressurected my Summer chino shorts! I hadn't really given any thought to wearing them with tights in the Winter months, but they actually looked alright with my big comfy jumper tucked into them.

Cardigan- my mums!; Skirt- New Look

Good morning all,  I just thought I'd post a quick picture of an outfit that I wore at the end of last year (it sounds so weird saying that!) which I never had a chance to upload. As you probably know already, I am a fan of pretty simple and often monochrome outfits that aren't overly fussy...so I was quite fond of this one! I love the Aztec print skirt which I bought before Christmas because it makes an otherwise very ordinary outfit a bit more interesting.           

I'm not sure if it is due to the fact that everything has been very festive lately, but I have started accessorizing with a lot of gold. I cannot stop wearing this diamante squirrel necklace that my friend gave me for Christmas, and, although the colour doesn't quite match I have been pairing it with this ring which I bought for only £1 in the sales! I have also been wearing gold nail varnish quite a lot recently... so sorry silver, but I have a new friend.

Happy new year everyone! So a couple of days ago I discovered the website www.fashiolista.com, which I've become addicted to! I think it is a great concept, as you can share looks and fashion pieces that you love with other members, as well as compiling outfits and seeing what items are trending around the world. It's also a good way to discover new brands and stores as every item has the link to its original website...I would definitely recommend it to any fashion addict (but be warned, you may never leave your computer again). Here is one look that I put together today... If only it was in real life though... I am in looove with the Alexander McQueen clutch!
