Heeey, I spent yesterday with my parents(I'm grounded at the moment so I either went with them or sat in the house!) in Stockbridge, a really nice part of Edinburgh. We just looked around the little independent shops and I bought some pointless things, but by far the best part of the day was finding the Patisserie Madeleine, where they sold the most amazing coloured macaroons and cakes... I'm seriously thinking about going back tomorrow, haha.The appealingly bright yet natural macaroons reminded me of some of the colourful clothing we saw on the runway for S/S 11, and although we're already onto Fall I'm going to take a look back anyway at my pick of the Summer shows pieces that remind me of these tasty treats [pictures courtesy of style.com].....
